I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
